♦ Established in 1978, the company was registered at the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Jordan as a Private Limited Company under the registration number 554. Early in 2010 Tanmia Securities took the transition to become a Private Shareholding Company, the new registration number 701 at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Mr. Walid Yacoub Al Najjar founded this family owned & operated business and maintained it as such to this day, to the extent that the family name “Al Najjar” became synonyms with company name as the years passed.
♦ Tanmia Securities is one of the first companies to be established and registered in compliance with the law in order to operate as a brokerage firm at Amman Financial Market. The company provides Brokerage Service and Financial Consultancy Services. Throughout the years Tanmia Securities registered record breaking trading numbers and always maintained a high ranking among the brokerage firms in the market, the company has been ranked more than once as the number one brokerage firm operating in the market.
♦ Tanmia Securities registered Capital is Three Million Jordanian Dinars (3,000,000 JOD) the Capital is Paid-Up in full.

♦ Over the years Tanmia Securities built up an impressive client base that includes a number of large Financial Corporations, Public Shareholding Companies and various Investors. These clients came to Tanmia Securities because of the reputation it built for itself over the years; an experienced, honest and trust worthy Brokerage Firm.
♦ Tanmia Securities collaborated with High-Worth Investors to establish a number of Public Shareholding Companies in varied sectors including the Financial, Insurance, Services and Industry sectors, further the company held a major role in managing these companies and others by means of Membership to their Board Of Directors -with various positions from Chairman to Member- Mr. Walid Al Najjar represented Tanmia Securities on these Boards. In turn this involvement in different sectors of the economy gave the management a better in-depth view of the state of the economy, allowing it to analyze the performance of different sectors in the market and better understand the market direction.
♦ In 1982, Tanmia Securities became one of the first brokerage firms to contribute and work on the founding of Amman Financial Market Brokers Society, the company also contributed in setting the laws and regulations for the Society. Tanmia Securities was voted Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Amman Financial Market Brokers Society more than once over the years.
♦ In 1999 with modernization of the market in mind, Amman Financial Market took the transformation to become a Regulated Exchange known as Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), now working with an electronic trading system that better serves the transparency and efficiency of the market, this system allowed for faster and more efficient execution of the trading process.
♦ Since the exchange came into place Tanmia Securities represented by Mr. Walid Yacoub Al Najjar has been voted by the Brokerage Firms in the Market, to be a member of the Exchange Board of Directors, holding the Vice-Chairman post from 1999 till 2002 and as a member of the board in 2003. In 2006 Tanmia Securities was voted a member of the board for the Securities Depository Center and was re-elected to that post in 2009 .
